Antiretroviral drug interactions, not only with other approved drugs, but also with other substances (i.e. recreational drugs, complementary treatments, etc.), are a crucial aspect for the effective management of HIV patients within the clinical setting. However, most of the available electronic resources on antiretroviral drug interactions are based on theoretical information, lacking information about its clinical relevance in real practice.
In order to address this, the FLS-Science, which is a scientific platform managed by “Lucha contra la sida” Foundation in Barcelona, has established the clinical cases on drug-drug interactions website. This clinically based drug-drug interaction resource website is free of access and available to healthcare professionals, researchers and patients.
